Our Basic Training in Divorce Mediation offers a comprehensive introduction to the theoretical and practical aspects of divorce mediation. This 40-hour training taught by three leaders in the field of mediation, Steve Abel, Ada Hasloecher, and Ken Neumann, covers legal, financial, and emotional issues that are common to the divorce process. We also provide an overview of fundamental dispute resolution theory and mediation techniques. Didactic instruction is balanced with extensive role-playing exercises, case studies, and opportunities for Q&A.

The 40-hour Basic Training in Divorce Mediation is designed for legal professionals, mental health professionals, financial professionals, real estate professionals, and anyone with an interest in alternative dispute resolution. People from a wide range of professional backgrounds have completed our training and have become successful mediators.
